4.  Have you tried shredding chicken with your mixer before??  I saw this on Pinterest and it worked AMAZING!!  Will NEVER go back to the two fork method!!
5.  Mike and I ate at our favorite spot!!  I mixed it up a bit...instead of my usual veggie bowl, I got steak this week (I'm wild and crazy like that!!).
6.  I remembered to buy some Tootsie Rolls (I ran out on Thursday~gah!)
7.  Had some time to make a card!!  Will blog it later this week.
8.  Working on my blog posts~trying to organize and plan some new stuff!!
9.  Mike is watching the game today (I'm typing this up on Sunday)!!  Here is one of his Christmas gifts~cause everyone needs a Patriots nut cracker, LOL!

Wow!  I really had planned on posting more regularly throughout December...but I got sick, Christmas happened, and the usual daily grind, prevented me from my "sporadic" posting (that will hopefully be changing soon!!). 
 
I hope you had a FABULOUS Christmas and New Year!!

1.  Came down with a cold a couple weeks before Christmas~it really knocked me out!!
2.  NEW walking shoes...for my daily walks with Kodi!!
3.  I am addicted to scarves lately~and luckily the Arizona temps are cooperating, so I can wear them *wink*
4.  You know I cannot post a photo dump without my weekly SB's splurge!!  I am currently drinking non fat, no whip, white chocolate mocha~YUM!
5.  Went to the doctor (see #1), while waiting to be seen, this rubber glove holder on the wall was driving my OCD crazy!!  (can you see it???).  I almost got up and fixed it, but with my luck that is when she would have walked in, LOL!
6.  Josh playing his guitar at our friends Christmas Party!!  We had a blast eating lots of yummy food, watching all the gift stealing during the gift exchange, and singing Christmas Carols!!
7.  Me and Ash (see #7) (Mike and Nate seemed to be avoiding the camera that night!!).
8.  One of my new Christmas gifts (YES I enjoy getting kitchen appliances for Christmas).  This bad boy has a timer, which I LOVE!!  I use my crock-pot almost every day (I love that I can throw everything in it the night before, put it in the fridge and then plop it in the base before I head out to work at 7:30 am.  Plus my family would probably not have dinner if I didn't use it, cause I am tired when I get home at 5:30). 
9.  Christmas stuff is all put away until next year.  It is sad taking it all down, but I love getting everything put away and back to normal (whatever that is, LOL!).

1.  Our office chipped in to buy Power Ball Tickets...We didn't win :( 
2.  My cube is getting a little holiday~ish!
3.  Mike and I went out for lunch on Saturday at our USUAL spot.  They have the BEST guacamole!
4.  We find this occasionally when we go upstairs to get ready for bed.  CRAZY Pete!!  Sometimes I wonder what he would do if I turned the water on, LOL!
5.  My Christmas Cards arrived the other day!!  I get them printed at Costco, they do a great job!!
6.  Getting ready to deck the halls at the Clark house!
7.  I am currently reading THIS  book.  I am thinking about changing up my blog in 2013.  I really miss posting on a regular basis.  Stay tuned!!
8.  This guy is the best tree fluff-er around!!  Since living in AZ we have gone "artificial"~ because, it is a dry heat around here!!  And YES we wear our PJ's on Sunday afternoon~that's how we roll at the Clark house!!
9. Our Front door is "decked" for Christmas!!

From Left to Right:
1.  Our church collected 81 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child!!  So AWESOME!
2.  Me, Ash and Hersh posing for a picture on Thanksgiving!!
3.  I upgraded to the iphone 5 last week (LOVE it), so of course I needed a new case!!  Found a great deal on Groupon for this place.
4.  Wish my family would finish up the leftover pie from Thanksgiving!!  I caved and had a small-ish piece!!
5.  Saw this picture on Facebook and texted it to Josh.  How GROSS is a whole canned chicken?
6.  If you live in the Phoenix area, you know that this station plays Christmas music from Thanksgiving to Christmas.  Turned it on in my vehicle, hoping it gets me into the Christmas mood!!
7.  Saturday morning, I decided to curl my hair since it is getting longer.  Think I may be sporting this look more often!!
8.  Jess bought me some sugar cookie peeps!!  DELISH!
9.  Kodi anxiously waiting to go for a walk, or what we call it in our house K-L-A-W (walk spelled backwards, lol), since he goes a little nuts when he hears the word!

weekly iphone dump...November {week 2}

Hi all!
I wanted to pop in with my weekly phone dump!!  

I have been thinking up some crafty things for the holidays, and I hope the creative juices start flowing soon!!  So stay tuned for some crafty posts!!

In the meantime...Here is my crazy week!

From Left to Right:
1. I usually eat my breakfast at my desk...on Tuesday I had a coffee, banana and Fiber One bar (4ww points plus if you include the creamer).  I'm back on Weight Watcher's to stay on track through the holidays!!!
2.  I randomly text my hubby at work with a wacky picture, I think he gets a kick out of it, LOL!!  (I seriously don't know what I did before I had my iPhone!!).
3.  I took Ashley to clean out her car at the collision center~bye bye little Saturn!!  You were a good car to her!!!  RIP!!
4.  I am back on the White Chocolate Mocha bandwagon (I am over pumpkin spice)~and almost ready for Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha!!
5.  It is finally cool enough in AZ for boots!  It was in the 60's last weekend (don't laugh CT peeps!!).
6.  Josh texted me this photo of Kodi all bundled up~it's getting chilly here in AZ (see #5).
7.  I have used my old crock pot a LOT this week!!  I love when I can get my act together and have dinner ready when I walk through the door after work!
8.  I do not encourage pets on the counter...but I think Pete was trying to get my attention by sitting in the kitchen sink!!  This is why I call him CRAZY Pete!!
9.  Today was cloudy and I was kinda tired...so it was a 2 cup of coffee day!

**by the looks of it~I really needed my coffee this week, LOL**

OK...I am off to watch some TV with Kodi and the fuzzy blanket!!

Since my hubby is glued to the television tonight...Thought I would post my long over due photo dump!! (this is from 2 weeks ago).

From Left to Right:
1. Pumpkin Spice Latte=YUM!! 
2.  My mom sent me some apples from CT.  They were eaten in a matter of days!!  Nothing compares to New England apples!!
3.  We all got double monitors at work (the 2 different sizes drives my OCD a little crazy), but I LOVE having 2 monitors at work (and at home)!
4.  I Voted!!   By mail, and I am so glad I signed up to do it that way~no line for me~WOOT!
5.  Received some flowers from my church and the smelled awesome!!
6.  Operation Christmas Child is in full swing at church~I LOVE being a part of this ministry!  To read more go here.  
7.  I seriously love this dog!!  I joke he is like my 3rd child...but he really is!!  Yup, I'm that crazy person!!
8.  Someone who used to work with me gave me the cutest Halloween gift...Thanks Scott!!!  I miss working with you!!
9.  Ashley got rear-ended on her way home from work (1 1/2 weeks ago).  She is OK!!  But I don't think her car will make it.  She has had her Saturn since she learned to drive (10 years).  It was a little sad to see it like that!!  And it was a little sad to think she has been driving for 10 years!!  That makes me...old...mature, LOL!!!

Sorry for the lack of posting, work and summer have been keeping me busy and lazy, LOL!!

From Left to Right:

1.  I made vegan lasagna, which was pretty yummy!!

2.  I don't own a lot of colored shoes, but I really like the color of these :)

3.  Dairy free frozen yogurt = YUM!!

4.  Flipped to July on my work calendar.  These two peeps celebrate July birthdays.  

5.  Iced Soy Chai Latte, I took a chance and it was YUMMY!!

6.  July 4th was cloudy and 82 degrees at 10:30 am.  A perfect day off!

7.  Went to the movies with my hubby.  

8.  An award I (and my co-workers) received at work this week, FUN!! 

9.  Mike and I ran into Costco for a few items, and decided that this would be lunch on Saturday. 

I hope to work on my Project Life album this week, so I may have more than one post this week, fingers crossed, LOL!!

project life~photo a day for March...

Here is the second page of my "March Photo A Day" for my PL album.  Unfortunately I stopped on day 20 of the challenge.  I hope that I will be inspired to keep up and finish the July Challenge!!  You can find the challenge HERE.

I was asked  a few questions regarding digital Project Life,  that I thought I would answer here on the blog:

Q:  How do I add memorabilia to my digital pages?

A:  I have not had any to add yet, but when I do, I will scan the tickets/receipts/etc into a folder on my computer, then edit in Photoshop if needed, then just insert the item the same way I would a photo.

Q:  Where do you get your pages printed?

A:  I have not had any of my PL pages printed yet, but I will most likely use Costco.  They do a great job and are very reasonably priced.  I have heard Persnickety Prints does a really nice job as well.

I am also going to print my "weekly iphone dumps" and add them to my album.  I always make them in 12 x 12 size, so they will fit in perfectly.

weekly iphone photo dump {june week 3}...

From left to right:

1.  I wore a dress to work on Thursday~that was something to photograph, LOL!!

2.  Josh is in CT this week, so I texted him this picture of Kodi to let him know that his doggie misses him.  Don't worry, I am taking very good care of the Kode-Miester!!

3.  Ashley was my date for an open house at work on Thursday evening.  They had a caricature artist there...apparently Ashley has chubby cheeks and pouty lips and I have giant teeth :/

4.  I treated myself to some non-dairy frozen yogurt on Friday~YUMMY!!

5.  Finally decided on a purse.  If you are friends with me on Facebook, you might have remembered my husband posting (a million pictures) about me trying to find one a couple of weeks ago.

6.  Chipolte for Saturday lunch.  What more can I say?  I LOVE that place!!

7.  Crazy Pete sleeps like this a lot.  I guess he likes to stretch out his front paws.

8.  A friend from church introduced me to this drink~apparently they don't have it in AZ, BOO!!  Because it is soooo good!!

9.  My latest cookbook.

weekly iphone photo dump {June week 3}...

Oh where is my blogging mojo???  I hope it returns soon!!  

I do need to whip up a few cards and have a couple Project Life pages in the works...so hopefully soon I will be back to regularly scheduled blogging!!

I did have a few minutes to sit down and upload my iPhone pictures onto the computer.  So with out further ado...

from left to right:

1.  Crazy Pete likes to be on top of whatever you are doing!!  I think he wanted Josh's attention, LOL!!

2.  I brought one of my favorite coffee cups to work, even though I am trying to cut back on my coffee intake.  This one was a gift from my mom :)

3.  Mike usually gases up my vehicle, but occasionally I have to do it.

4.  Ashley and I got a pedi on Friday night after work.  We tried out a new place that was pretty nice.  I especially liked that the guy at the desk asked if I wanted to sit next to my sister!! 

5.  I took Kodi for a walk on Sunday evening, and enjoyed the view.

6.  Made roasted sweet potato fries for dinner the other night, I could have eaten the entire pan~so YUMMY!!

7.  It's starting to get HOT!!

8.  My favorite Yonana's combo:  banana, peaches and pineapple = DELISH!!

9.  Calibrated my computer monitors, cause things have been looking wonky!!

 ETA:  Just realized that I was a week ahead of myself, LOL!!  Fixed it!!

I think I lost my blogging mojo the last few weeks, LOL!!  Sorry for the lack of consistent posting, I hope to get back on track soon!!

I did however keep up with my random iPhone photo taking (it's an addiction!!).

1.  Mike and I went to Sam's Club to stock up (we were way over due, and running out of everything!!), it is so nice to have that done and put away!!

2. This is my weekend breakfast:  English muffin with PB&J so YUMMY!!

3.  The Hersh came to stay with us for the weekend (Ashley & Nate had a mini stay-cation in Scottsdale).  He was my little shadow all weekend, LOL!!

4.  Bought a new purse, but not sure I am totally in love with it just yet.  Letting it grow on me, before I fill'er up!!

5.  I LOVE watermelon!!  I buy one every week and cut it up for a snack (it is already half gone!!).

6.  My usual Sunday morning SB's splurge!!  This week it was a skinny Carmel Macchiato.

7.  I put off my cleaning until Sunday...I hate when I procrastinate!!

8.  My work coffee is really good!!  Which is a good and bad thing.  Good because I like drinking coffee, bad because I drink way more than I probably should!!

9.  Made a quick to-do list of all the things I procrastinated on this weekend, see #7,  that must get done TODAY!!

Hi all!

It has been a busy couple of weeks around here, hence my lack of blog posts!!  Since things have been crazy, I took it pretty easy this weekend.  I had some time to work on my project life album, which has been very neglected!  I will share a few of my pages this week.  I have decided to go the digital route for my 2012 album, and so far it is working out great!!  I may actually get caught up!

1.  So happy Kodi finished his second round of medication for valley fever, Josh will take him to the vet soon  for a blood test, to verify he is finally cured!! (Kodi will miss his turkey treat/pill disguise twice a day I am sure, LOL!!)

7.  Another Pinterest SCORE...all purpose cleaner that works AWESOME (not just on floors!!)!!  Notice my bottles are almost empty??  I need to make some more.  Recipe HERE

8.  Washed my kicks.

9.  Uploaded all my "week in the life" photos to Paper Coterie and made THIS book.  Cannot wait to get it in the mail this week!!!

weekly iphone photo dump {april week 4}

I had a fun week participating in Ali Edward's "a week in the life."  I was worried that I would run out of things to take pictures of, but once I got into it, things just seemed to flow!!  I will definitely participate again next year!!  I have not decided if I will make a separate album for all my photos from my WITL or if I will just incorporate it into my Project Life album.  I may post a few of the photos this week, since I did not really have much time to stamp.  I was busy wrapping up all the details from my last job, so I can transition to my new job tomorrow.  I am looking forward to my first day!!  I have been doing healthcare for so long~I think it will be a nice change for me.  

Here is my weekly phone dump (I had LOTS of photos to choose from this week, since I was using my DSLR and my iphone to document my WITL).

From Left to Right:

1.  Running some quick errands:  drop off a package for Josh, pick up stamps for work, run to Costco.

2.  This is one of the many times I didn't spend over $250 at Costco~picked up some snacks for the boys and some frozen fruit for me (Yonana's!!)

3.  My kids LOVE this mac & cheese, I prefer homemade, but I gave it a try for lunch the other day, and it was OK (and only 5 ww points plus)

4.  Pete on top of my work (as usual).  I will miss having my crazy pets with me at work!! 

5.  Decided to drop off all my ironing at the dry cleaners (go me!!), check out the bag they gave me with my own name inside so I can drop off laundry anytime, at their kiosk~COOL!!

6.  Mike and I went out for lunch on Friday to a new place up in the foothills, We have eaten at others in the past, and are excited to have one so close to us!!!

7.  Mailed a birthday gift~I love that I don't have to wait in line anymore at the post office, because it never fails, when I go in there,  there is always a line and 2 people working, then one decides to go on break!! (vent over).

8.  Mike and I went out for lunch AGAIN on Saturday, to our usual spot see #9  (we kinda splurged on eating out this week, LOL!!).

week in the life {my monday}....

Hi all! I hope you are having a terrific Friday!!I have been busy wrapping up stuff for my old office, and getting ready to start my new job on Monday.  

This year I was determined to participate in the Week in The Life!!  I have to say that it has been somewhat easy to keep up with the task.  However, I sometimes do something and then think "I should have photographed that."  

I think it is a great idea to document your ordinary everyday routine.  I will be the first to admit, my life is not too exciting, but I LIKE that!!  

Here are my Monday photos:

Wake up: 6:45 am, head downstairs for some coffee, I am excited to try the new creamer flavor, caramel Macchiato = YUMMY!!

Realized I forgot to take a photo of my bedroom clock and what time I woke up, oh well (hopefully will remember that another day this week)!!  Instead I took a picture of the family room clock.  No worries, it all works out!!

7am - Coffee poured and ready to check emails and blogs for 30 min or so.

 

7:45 am - Normally I do my laundry on the weekend, but ran out of time, so threw in a load to get it going.

8:45 am - Showered and ready to start my work (working from home this week).  Here is Kodi wondering why I am disturbing his one of many naps!!  Is it just me, or does he look like he is giving me a dirty look?  LOL!!

9 am - Stayed in my home office for most of the day.  I am transitioning to a new job and this week I had a lot of stuff to wrap up for my old office.

2:30 pm - Doctors appointment, so off I went (nothing serious).

2:45 pm - I didn't have to wait too long before the Physicians Assistant came in to see me (my doctor was on vacation this week).  So of course while I was waiting I snapped a picture.  After a quick lab, and a lecture that I am not drinking enough water, I was on my way.

3 pm - I am a good patient!!  So when I got home I poured a glass of water, and have been drinking more this week *go me*

3:15 pm - went back into my office to do some more work wrap up.

 

The temp on Monday~it is getting HOT here!!  Probably another reason to drink more water!!

6:30 pm - Forgot to photograph dinner, oops! But snapped a few of me cleaning it up.

 

7 pm - Finished up the the laundry from the morning.

7:30 pm - Mike and Kodi chllin' on the sofa, waiting for me to finish up and join them for some TV watching.

7:45 pm - I whip up some Yonanas for a snack and I join the boys on the sofa.  

 

9:30 pm - Get ready for bed and played Draw Something/read on my ipad.

10:30 pm - Lights out!

It was a good day!!

I am alive!!  really, I am!!

From Left to Right:

1.  My new favorite game is Draw Something!!  Here is a screen shot I sent to Josh asking him for a hint, LOL!!!

2.  I bought this contraption to help me get my contacts out with my acrylic nails...I am not really in love with it!!

3.  Wedding invites (folded and ready to finish)  that I helped make for Ashley's BFF, who is getting married June 1st, they came out really pretty!! 

4.  Took a pedi break!!

5. Yup, I am OCD, I love going to Costco and stocking up on food, then filling up my clear containers in my pantry.

6.  Kodi is not spoiled, LOL!!  well maybe a little, he likes to have a pillow to sleep on.

7.  Mike and I went to Pei Wei for our Saturday date lunch (since I had gone to Chipolte, our usual spot,  the day before with a friend).  

8.  Fueling up before church this morning.

9.  I had to chuckle at the sticker on my bananas~it reads:  turn me into  Yonanas!!  Yes Please!!  I LOVE my Yonana's maker!! I use it almost every day.

weekly iphone photo dump...week 1 {april}

 From left to right:

1.  Finished the base of Lindsay's wedding invitations, I cannot wait to see them all assembled this coming weekend!!

2.  My new favorite peeps~chocolate dipped~DELISH!!

3.  Mike had to work on Saturday, so we met for lunch on Friday, can you guess where we went??  Chipolte our usual spot.

4.  Getting ready to head into the office on Saturday morning~I have been working in the front office all last week (and this week), so I am getting behind on my work.

5.  Ashley and I went to Walmart to pick up supplies to make another batch of laundry soap;  I picked up a package of trail mix to snack on, check out this GIANT raisin!!  I didn't eat it, it was just too weird, LOL!!

6.  Laundry soap all mixed up, I feel like Martha Stewart, LOL!! directions and supply list HERE. I really love it, and it is very inexpensive!!!

7.  Saturday night around our house, catching up on TV shows and making my grocery list (We are wild and crazy, what can I say??)

8..  Pineapples were on sale this week, so I bought 3. I Cut them all up to snack on!!

9.  Dewey is such a lovable kitty, but also a pain!!  He is always on top of whatever I am working on~crazy DEW!!

From Left to Right:

1.  I slept with my contact lenses in, not sure why I forgot to take them out, so on Tuesday I gave my eyes a breather and wore my glasses.

2.  I whipped up a quick tag for someone at work, I was a day late, so I altered my stamp, LOL!!

3.  This is what I got for my birthday, the iPad 3 and I am in LOVE!!

4.  My new dentist gives you free whitening gel (as long as you get your teeth cleaned every 6 months, which I do, SCORE), here are my impressions (I remember those from my braces days), I think they look kind of creepy, LOL!!  (they give it to you to keep in case you need to have another set of trays made).  My chompers should be sparkly white in a couple of weeks!!

5.  Ashley and I got our nails done~here we are doing the wedding day pose!!

6.  A quick trip to Orange Leaf for some frozen yogurt, after #5, and NO we are not sunburned, they umbrella we were sitting under was orange.

7.  I celebrated my 29th birthday (for the 15th time) on Sunday with the fam!!

8.  Ashley and I are making wedding invitations for her BFF, here are some of the pieces, I will be happy to have it all cut and ready to assemble.

9.  Some birthday goodies from the girls at work.
