For some reason this week seemed to go really slow!! Probably because I thought that Wednesday was Thursday, and Thursday felt like Friday~I am just glad that the weekend is HERE!! 

 I whipped up a quick card for an old friend (for the record...my friend isn't old, LOL!). I seem to have a few friends going through some rough patches right now! I hope things start looking up for them. 

Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? Just the usual around the Clark house~errands and housework, and maybe some creative time, I hope anyway!!

Hi all!!

I hope you had a great weekend!!  I have been trying to wrap up all the Christmas details that I have  procrastinated about all month!!  This is the first year that I will probably finish my shopping on Friday December 23rd *yikes!!*  

My hubby even finished decorating the tree for me (I am just not feeling it this year~not sure why!!).  This is the first year that Ashley will not be home for Christmas.  She and Nate are heading to the COLD weather to celebrate Christmas with Nate's family in Pennsylvania.  We decided to have our Christmas celebration when they are both back in AZ, which is good, because it gives me some more time to get their presents, LOL!!

This week is my last week of training, and I will be thrown into the real world, LOL!! I think I will be okay!! In my opinion that is really how you learn!!

Here is a card I made for a friend of mine that will be getting a Starbucks gift card for Christmas (I HEART SB's!).

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend??  Tonight Mike and I are having dinner with some friends from church, Saturday we are going to a birthday party, and Sunday is our {rescheduled} Family Christmas Photo shoot (rain or shine!!  I am taking photos!).  It should be a fun and busy weekend!!

Here is a quick card I whipped up last week.  Recently I have really been evaluating my purchases, since I have been on an organizing and purging kick!!  I am really trying to "think" about what I buy.  Of course I always want to hit the "I want it all button" on each PTI release, LOL!! 

Recently, I was admiring a card made using the Boxy Banner's Die, and the light bulb went on...I can do that with my cuttlebug and Nestabilities!!

Hi friends!

I hope you had a Fantastic weekend!!  I was a little bummed that it rained on Sunday (we were supposed to do our family Christmas photo), we hardly ever get rain in AZ, can you believe that it rained on Sunday??  Oh well~we rescheduled to next Sunday.

I have been on an organizing kick lately, which is probably due to the fact that I am trying to get my "ducks in a row" before I start my new job in a couple of weeks. On the agenda today...I am going through my closet after work. I recently downloaded THIS book onto my Kindle App for my iPhone, which is really inspiring me to get rid of stuff!!  I also ordered THIS book over the weekend (my hubby always gets nervous when I am on an organizing kick, LOL!).

Since I am in a simplifying mood~I have a clean and simple card for you (no shocker there, right??).  I pulled out and dusted off my Cuttlebug embossing folders, I think it adds just enough detail to the card base.

Mine flew by~lots of stuff packed into two days, cleaning, out for lunch 2 times with my hubby :), grocery shopping, church picnic, some graphic design work for church, organizing, and a little crafting...it was FUN!! 

I found this tutorial the other day online, with instructions how make these cute Yo-Yo flowers~I immediately thought that they would be really cute on a card!!  They are very easy to make, but they do require a bit of sewing (but if I can do it anyone can!!).  I used my Circle Nestabilities die (the large circle set has a 4 inch circle) to cut out the 4 inch circle, and stitched it up (about 5 min), while watching TV with the hubs.  Then I just stamped a leaf and stem and glued on a button.  I really do love the simplicity of it!

Hi all!
I hope you are having a terrific week!!
For some reason I have NO motivation this week~I am hoping that changes, cause I've got lots to do!!!

I did manage to stamp a card though~I have been in a "less is more" phase; I was happy with the end result and this card is SUPER easy to make!!



And on a funny side note~I have my sewing machine set up in my dining room (for several projects on the back burner...see first paragraph, LOL!). I was sewing my patterned paper onto my card front and I hear...

Mike: (from the family room) "are you sewing a piece of paper?"
Me: Yup! The then gives me a weird look and continues watching his movie, LOL!!
Does that seem weird to you??? ha ha!!

Last night I had a few moments to watch the tutorial by Erin Lincoln here. I absolutely LOVED her card sketch, so of course I HAD to CASE it :) I didn't use the reverse masking technique, but will probably try it~it looks like fun!!!

dusted off my out on a limb set...

I LOVE "that time of the month" over at Nichole's blog!! Last week she made a card using the Out on a Limb set and decided to pull out my dusty set as well!!! I never thought to turn the limb on it's side~she is so CLEVER!!!



Today I am hopefully making some Father's Day cards (nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh??). I also hope to have a few minutes to work on my Project Life album, since it seems to get pushed to the bottom of my list these days *sad face*

and for some randomness...Last night Josh and I took Kodi to the Bark Park~He Loves it (Kodi, and Josh too, LOL!!). Josh takes Kodi there a few times a week. I had never been and wanted to see Kodi in "action". He is such a crazy dog!! I think he has ADHD, it was fun to watch him run around without a leash and play with all the other dogs. I tried to snap a photo~but he was having too much fun for a photo shoot...maybe next time!!!

warm happiness too and another tag...

Happy Friday Blog Friends!! How was your week?? I have really been messed up "day wise" since my 3 day weekend (last week)...plus I am working today (I usually have Friday's off, so I am still a little messed up, it feels like Thursday to me, LOL!!).

I pulled out my Warm Happiness Too stamp set and another tag and went to work; I had the twine pictured differently in my mind, but it didn't seem to work on the card ( I improvised). Sometimes I have to leave it alone and then come back and look at it with fresh eyes. I am glad I did, cause I kinda like it now ;)



My poor hubby is SLOWLY getting better, now that he is taking some medication, I have read that it can take up to 3 weeks to start feeling better (good grief!! 1 week down and 2 weeks to go *woot*). Valley Fever is no fun!!!

Well I hope you have a GREAT weekend!!! I am photographing a baby shower on Saturday and have lots of the usual stuff to do (groceries, housework, laundry)...GOOD TIMES!!

Hi all~ my Friday post is a little late :(
It has been a little crazy around here!! I have a quick and easy card for you today~this one came together pretty quickly...I forgot that I had these tags in my stash of scrapbooking stuff and LOVE how they look on a card.



Mike's is still not feeling great, his labs came back normal, but the doctor is going to treat him like he has Valley Fever, cause he has all the symptoms (and his coughing is driving me CRAZY!!)...so I am off to the Pharmacy to pick up his medication...I am hoping he starts feeling better soon, cause I have lots of "honey-do" projects saved up for him, LOL!!

Happy Monday Peeps!! Mike and I left yesterday for vacation *woot woot* We will be spending an entire week together~which I am sooo looking forward to. We are planning a few day trips one to Sedona and one to Jerome~and then playing it by ear the rest of the week :) I did manage to stamp a few cards so I will still have posts going up on my usual post days M-W-F, but the chit chat will be on the light side, LOL (unless I can find some Internet access~then I will pop in). I am a little nervous about unplugging for an entire week~but I know after the first day or so it will be nice. I used a lot of PTI dies for this card~FUN!! Enjoy today!!!

Just poppin' in with a quick card tonight. For some reason I have no stamping mojo *hate when that happens* and I even have new goodies to play with~what is up with that?? I am hoping it returns soon! Made this tonight while listning to some hip hop.



Mike and I are getting excited to be going on vacation next week *woot woot*. I am hoping to upload a few new books to my iPhone Kindle app, not sure how it will be reading a book on my iPhone, I'll let ya know, LOL!!.

My laptop died a few weeks ago and I don't think my hubby will let me buy one of these until Christmas, LOL!! So looks like I will be pretty much unplugged next week (except for my iPhone), so hopefully I will get my act together and get some posts scheduled for y'all :)

Hi friends!! oh boy, weekends always fly by, don't they? I was so busy with random stuff this weekend, I didn't even get any stamping time :( I made this card the other day when my "happy mail" arrived...which I am hoping to ink up some of my new goodies tonight, while the hubby is at a meeting for church.



Have you heard of Pinterest?? Oh my, I LOVE it!! Not sure I need another thing to be addicted to, but I love that you can pin up neat ideas to save for later, AND see everyone else's neat ideas!! So FUN!! You should request an invite!! I am still learning how to get around the site, but so far I am LOVING it :) This is about the most exciting weekend news I have to share (I live such an exciting life, LOL!!)~I bought this (and have to say I am really liking it!!). Mostly because I can use my own cleaning products in it. It did an amazing job!! That is my OCD talking, LOL!!

Hi all!
Did you happen to catch the Super Moon on Saturday night?? My photos did not come out as planned!! You can read about my failed attempt here.
My photo shoot however went pretty smoothly~which is always good *smile* I will hopefully have some photos up on my other blog some time in the next week or two.

Here is a quick card I made last night~I pulled out some really old SU! designer paper (do you remember this one??). I had a little problem in the past~I used to hoard my designer paper terribly (don't judge me, LOL!)!! I finally realized that there is always bigger and better stuff coming out~so just cut it!!! It feels nice to actually use some of it, LOL!!! I also pulled out my Everyday Button Bits stamp set (which hasn't been inked up very much lately). I call this my smile card with a cherry on top (cheesy, I know, LOL!!).



I have today off~and I am hoping to re-arrange/(somewhat organize) Josh's room (yes, he is aware of this, LOL!). Wish me luck!!!

The week is moving right along...

Random cleaning product chit chat: I ordered some of this last week, I have heard lots of good things about the products and have been doing my research. I mixed up 3 separate bottles: for windows, all purpose, de-greaser; since I have not really had much time to clean (hopefully over the weekend), I am anxious to try it out!! Can you believe the window cleaner only needed 2 drops of cleaner for 16 oz of water, the all purpose cleaner used 1/4 of a tsp for 16 oz of water and the de-greaser used 1 1/2 teaspoons of cleaner to 16 oz of water, (I will NEVER run out of this stuff, LOL! so I hope I like it).

A few weeks ago I was cleaning my bathroom with this, and I could hardly stand the fumes!!! I had a headache that entire day; I decided it was time to ditch the stinky products and jump on the "green cleaning" wagon!! I also ordered this it is supposed to be better than bleach...I will keep you posted ;)

Here is a little card I whipped up last night...I cannot believe I had a few moments to stamp...probably because I didn't go for my power walk (oh well, there is always tomorrow, right?). Stamping was way more fun than walking!!

Another weekend went by way too fast *sad face*

The weather has been so nice here in Phoenix, can you believe it will be 90 on Wednesday?? It is starting to heat up in the desert! I talked to my mom on the phone yesterday; and CT is even starting to warm up (it was 45 when I talked to her at 3pm). I know they have had a hard winter and spring is greatly anticipated. Wish I could send some of our warm weather.

Ashley and I went to IKEA on Saturday~I LOVE that place!! We both ended up getting new duvet covers, this is the one I got, and Ashley got this one. I also picked up this little guy for my night stand, and some of these for my kitchen table.

Here is a quick card that I put together last night; inspired by this one, by Maile Belles. Have you seen her new stamp set?? At first glance, I wasn't sure if I really liked it~but now that I am seeing all the possibilities~it is on my "ever growing" wish list!!

Happy 'TGIF' friends!!! I am ready to get the weekend started *woot*. Do you have anything fun planned? I am meeting a friend that I have not seen in quite a while over coffee this morning, which will be fun!! And Mike and I are meeting up with a couple from church tonight, also for coffee (I think I will have my Starbuck's fix for today anyway, LOL!!). I will probably try to be good and order one of these, but I may easily talk myself into this; and for the record...have you seen these?? (I wonder how many points those are??), don't they look yummy?

I haven't played along with the Clean & Simple sketch challenge for a couple of weeks, so decided to give it a whirl (here is this weeks sketch). I pulled out some retired SU! paper and went to town. I am definitely feeling the need to make a PTI order!!! Have you seen the sneak peaks?? SUPER CUTE!! I am seriously going to have to get another job to support my habit, LOL!!
