Because I have not had the time to do much crafting (lots of puppy playing around here), thought I would do a..

5 on Friday

1.  I am so EXCITED that the weather is warming up!!  I love living in AZ!!

2.  Mike and I are addicted to this Show, and are learning lots of things to do with Kodi and Sophie.  But I have also learned that I am a big softy when it comes to implementing them, LOL!!

3. I cannot believe that Easter is next week!!  I really need to get in my craft room!!

4.  I have been wanting to make one of these since December and the supplies are still in a bag in my craft room, Geesh!!

 5.  And if you are friends with me on Facebook, you saw this already, but I think it is so neat how Kodi shows Sophie how to do things.  My cats totally do NOT do that, LOL!!  

Sophie is learning how to be on a leash and walk with us, Kodi is a great teacher!!

It has been a busy week and I am SO ready for the weekend!!  Lots of planning for Mike's "belated" Birthday Party!!

I had a few minutes to kill this afternoon before I went to pick Mike up from the airport~so of course I grabbed my camera and took a few shots:)

I also stopped at Michael's on my way home from and picked up a cute little plaque (50 % off) for the house, hung it up and then headed to get my hubby~so happy to have him back!!

Hi all!
I am so glad the weekend is here~woot woot!!

Yesterday when I got home from work, I was freezing~my hubby said "why don't you go upstairs and put on your jammies" (he was already in his), that was music to my ears, LOL!! It has been unseasonably cold here in AZ!! And I must say~I am not a fan!! But I did put on my jammies and sweatshirt and it felt GLORIOUS!! I made dinner~which was yummy (and has WW points~yeah), cleaned up, then sat on the couch with Mike and Kodi. Needless to say~today's post will be up a little late~because of that reason.

I didn't want to leave you without a photo...Here is Kodi taking a little nap...He is still a VERY active puppy (14 months)~so we enjoy nap time *wink*

family room decor...

Howdy,
Today I have a decorating post for ya...I was supposed to post this last week, and then my computer kinda pooped out, so here it goes...

I have been wanting to change the photo I had over the sofa for a while (should have taken a before photo), but wasn't really sure what I wanted to do (I am sometimes undecisive)...one trip to Hobby Lobby helped me to get my decorating juices flowing, LOL!!! I have been wanting a metal star for a while (they kinda make me feel New England ~y) since they are very prevelant in the NE area. And since HL always has their metal decor 50% off (not sure if it is always on sale, but every time I have gone in, it has been on sale), I scored a few pieces that really didn't break the bank!!! *woot* Then I found a chalk board (really cheap), which I thought would add a fun touch to the wall, along with some vinyl wall decor (which I used my 40% off coupon on~I had to find something not on sale, so I could use my coupon LOL!!). Then all I needed were some plates to go in the plate rack (also 50% off at HL)...can you believe I found these plates at Target??? And can you believe that they are plastic? They really look like glass...REALLY !!!



Of course Kodi was sitting in his usual spot when I snapped the family room photo...CRAZY DOGGIE!!!


Here is a close up of the wall~I added a little message to the chalk board for my hubby, who very graciously hung up everything for me~and when I came downstairs, I had to laugh that he commented on it too, LOL!!!



And just for fun, this is Kodi playing I am hard to photograph (which he has down pretty well).



Hey CRAZY DOG...Lookie over here I have a snack...GOTCHA!!! Isn't he a cute??? I think so!!

I interrupt this blog for some doggie cuteness!!!

Yesterday was sort of a stressful day (not work or family related) that is all I am gonna say about that, LOL!!! I was really tired and just wanted to veg when I got home, so today instead of a card post...I am posting Kodi...the cutest doggie IMO *wink*. What I love most about him is when you have a bad day and come home~Kodi is always so happy to see you... (which involves lots of slobbering, LOL!)!!! Kinda makes you forget about the stress for a few moments.

Hi all, can you believe it is already Monday again??? I hope you had a great weekend!!! I don't know about you, but I usually jam way too much stuff into mine and then once Monday rolls around I am exhausted!!! I am def gonna try to plan on having a "nothing to do weekend" really soon!!!

Mike was supposed to go to a Cardinal's game on Saturday night, so I was all prepared to stamp the night away~but his plans changed (being in the ministry is sometimes like that!!), so I got a little side tracked, LOL!! I did some shopping at Michael's with Ashley...she was trying to use up a gift card (she is not really that crafty, but she found some cute items that I think she might blog about this week~so I won't spoil the surprise). I had my 40% off coupon and decided to buy some vinyl wall art (gonna let my perfectionist measuring hubby put it up for me)~will post once it gets up on the wall.

So Sunday I had a few moments to stamp and decided to do the Clean & Simple sketch (since I wasn't feeling the creative mojo). I have to say~it never disappoints!! I had a card made for the old blog in about 10 minutes (it took me longer to clean up my craft table, LOL!!).



And I did get some camera time in (not like I had planned), since Josh was not really excited about a photo shoot~I took Kodi outside and snapped a few photos (let me just say, he is not very cooperative)~this is the view I got most of the time, LOL!!!



I was calling his name a million times trying to get his attention~my neighbors were probably wondering what the heck I was doing, LOL!!! Finally I got him to look at me~sort of ;) Crazy Doggie!!!
