chocolate snowman...

Hi Friends,
Am I the only one that thinks December is flying by? Can you believe that Christmas is 10 days away? YIKES!!

Today's post is gonna be a quickie!
Here is a quick project that I made last week...very quick and easy (my favorite kind of projects!!). I usually like to have some small gifts on hand during the holidays, just in case you need one at the last minute; So I whipped up a few of these guys/gals. And if I don't use them~I am sure the chocolate bar will NOT go to waste, LOL!!

Start with this:

After some cardstock, a few punched shapes, ribbon, and a button you get this:

A yummy chocolate snowman/snowwoman!!

As Christmas is creeping up on me~I am going to do my best to post on my regular days...but I may miss a few posts, due to the hustle and bustle.

Enjoy Today!!!

lovin' my HBB...

Howdy all...
I hope you are having a terrific week~I had a blast with my friend Sue last week...but it was back to reality yesterday. I figured the massages, eating out and shopping would have to come to an end eventually *sigh*

Mike and I dropped her off at the airport on Monday...and I had some time to break out my Holiday Button Bits *yippee* I am just letting you know~I LOVE THIS SET!!!!!! I only had time to make a couple of cards...but I am anxiously awaiting some weekend stamping time to ink it up again *smile*

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week *gasp* I am starting to stress a little about Christmas shopping (37 days until Christmas)!! I used to make it a goal to have everything purchased and (maybe) wrapped by Thanksgiving...I have been such a slacker the past few years. Ashley and I will most likely go out on Black Friday (I used to swear I would never shop on BF with all those crazy people, LOL!)...but it is a lot of fun (after a Peppermint Mocha, of course). This year we may even do some research to see what we want to wait in line for.

Enjoy Today!

snowman & smores....

Hi...
Can you believe that Christmas is a little over a month away...arghhhh! I always say every year that I am going to start my shopping/crafting early, but that never happens...I just don't feel like Christmas when it is in the 80-90's here in Phoenix. With the economy the way it is, it looks like Christmas will be a little lighter than usual...no biggie! I am trying to start a mental list in my head. It seems like every year new and exciting ideas for everyone gets harder and harder. It must mean that we really don't NEED anything. It really isn't about the gifts anyway, but I do have fun giving them!

I saw a card similar to this one last year on Splitcoast Stampers...I thought it was really cute (I totally love snowmen!). I had to recreate it...it was pretty simple, used mostly punches (and my cuttlebug die...it was the closest one to snow that I had). I think this snowman looks like it could be a yummy snack...SMORES...Delish!!! snowmen & smores...how can you go wrong?

Enjoy today, and thanks for stopping by!
