shaker box...

Hi ya friends...
I hope you had a wonderful Easter!! It was 85 degrees here and just a glorious day!!! Ashley and I had some time to kill before all the guys got home from church, so we took some photos (she is such a good sport!). Then we chowed down on a yummy ham dinner, went for a walk, and had dessert, we never got around to coloring our eggs (too tired), oh well, no biggie!

Even though my kids are grown...I still do Easter baskets, but this year I decided I was not going to include candy in their Easter baskets (Josh doesn't really eat it, and Ashley and I got a ton from work...plus we are doing WW), so I just got them all a gift card to a place they like to shop. I had planned out that I was going to make these cute shaker boxes and put their gift cards in there. I printed off the pattern and made one on Friday evening...(aren't they cute??)

they are pretty time consuming and since I would be putting these together on Saturday evening, decided to take another route, (sometimes it is good to K.I.S.S. ~Keep It Simple Silly~my paraphrase). I found these cute gift card tins at Michael's (right next to the register). I was happy with the end result!!

packing another picnic...

*posting a little early since I am still having issues with my blogger*

Happy Wednesday!!!
The week is just flying by:D
I am ready for another weekend!!!

I am loving this Pack a Picnic Template!!! This is the larger sized basket, and I have to say...it is really big. Perfect for gift giving. I used one of my favorite color combos (Ashley's wedding colors) Aqua Mist, Basic Black and Whisper White. I also added some of the flower cut outs we had purchased for the tables at her wedding reception.

Today is Ashley's 23rd birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASH!!!!! We are planning our family celebration this Sunday after church...good times!!! I am sure there will be lots of pictures, so be sure to check out my 365 blog later this week if you want to see them *smile*

Thanks for visiting!!!

another birthday set...

Happy Monday!!!
Hope you had a great holiday weekend:D Mike and I had a great time relaxing and enjoying one another's company...we went to breakfast on Friday morning at one of our favorite breakfast spots, then I dropped him off at church so he could a few things while I shopped at JoAnn's. We came home and hung out around the house, then watched the movie Taken (pretty good...it was his turn to pick). Saturday I made breakfast for the fam, and we just did stuff around the house. In the afternoon Josh and Mike went shopping together to get Mike some new clothes (we take our kids with us to prevent us from buying anything dorky, LOL!), then met up with Sharon
for some yummy Mexican food. As usual the weekend flew by (hate that!), but it was fun!

Today at work we are celebrating Ashley's birthday (which is on 7/8). Here is the little gift set I made for her. Of course I had to use my new template (which I love!!!). The color combo is really fresh and summery:D I hope she likes it.

Enjoy Today!!

pack a picnic...

Edit: for some reason my scheduled postings are not posting...not sure why???
Hi friends...
I hope you had a great weekend...I had a very busy one, but it was fun! Had a game night on Friday with some friends, out to lunch on Saturday with some more friends, and church and lunch with my hubby on Sunday...lots of fun and food:D
Here is a quick post...I purchased Lauren's Pack a Picnic Template and could not wait to give it a try!!! It went together pretty quickly. This is the smaller one, which is the perfect size for a gift card and some candy. I cannot wait to make some more!!! They are really fun!
This is going to be a light week for me in the office (so excited!). I am going to get to work a few half days...so I am planning on getting some major stamping time in!
Enjoy today!

door hanger...

Hi all,
Boy this week is going by fast (I think Monday should be part of the weekend every week...what do you think?, LOL!). I hope you had a enjoyable long weekend...I took a couple extra days off to get caught up on some stuff...hoping to get some stamping done today.

I have been working on a surprise digi project (should be done by the end of the week...so stay tuned), hope it turns out like I have it envisioned in my head, LOL!

I saw this cute little (Easter) door hanger a while ago (designed by Andrea Walford), and since I forgot to make them for Easter...I thought I would make a Thank you one. It is pretty simple and comes together fast (my type of project), you can get the template here.

Enjoy today!
