A.P.D.

TGIF my blog friends!!!
I have a quick post for you today... Administrative Professionals Day (A.P.D.) was this past Wednesday, so of course I wanted to whip up something special for the Church Administrator, Heather, who volunteers her time to help my hubby in so many ways!! And always tells him to "go home", which I appreciate (because Mike looses track of time when he is at the church) *smile*.
Since I know she likes pink, I really went with a pink theme.

And check out Pete (a.k.a. CRAZY Pete), he is too curious for his own good, LOL!!! I found the cute little gift box at Target and filled it with some gift cards, chocolate and other goodies (Pete approved of this A.P.D. gift, LOL!!!)...and a big Thanks to Heather!!!

Friday's are FABULOUS!!!

Happy Friday all...
I am a little late in posting~got side tracked last night. So here ya go...
This is a quick and easy one~I love those *smile*!!! I just love making background paper with my stamps~and this Turning a New Leaf set is awesome for doing just that.

Some randomness...
I was trying to photograph my card this morning for my post, and 2 of my 3 cats (yes CRAZY cat lady here), were enjoying my make shift soft light box. When Peter finally got out of the box, I set up my card again, and Dewey had to investigate~Don't you just love kitties, LOL!!! They are so curious!!! And as I type this Kitty is sitting almost on top of the keyboard~right in front of me.

a bday card for Alli...

Hello there friends...
Are you having a good week?
My niece Allison celebrated her birthday yesterday *Happy Birthday Alli!!!*
I made her birthday card using my new stamp set Blooming Button Bits. When I was finished with the card...I realized it looked a lot like this one~I guess I really like that layout, LOL!
EBB birthday

I am getting out of work early today so I can take my cat, Pete to the vet...I think he has pink eye (poor kitty). I hate taking my cats to the vet, because they hate it so much!!! Ashley and Josh are off from work and said they would go with me (Mike usually goes with me but he will be at work). Peter meow's so much that I like to have some moral support...hopefully it will be an uneventful trip ;) Never a dull moment, LOL!

I like you a latte...and my cat peter...

Happy Monday Blog Friends!

Are you ready for a new week? I had some time in the craft room over the weekend, which always makes me happy! I used the stamp set Coffee Cafe by the Paper Company (which I purchased at Joann's). I have been on a paper piecing kick lately...I really used to like to color my stamped images, but because I don't own the Copic Markers and I hate the lines that my SU! ones leave, paper piecing in the best option IMO.

So I have this make-shift light box that I use to photograph my blog stuff...last night I was doing my usual card photo shoot and my cat Peter decided he needed to get inside the box (he is sitting on top of my card)...of course I had to take his picture (even though it is quite blown and not really the best quality picture, it made me laugh)...he has quite the personality, LOL!

Supplies used (SU!) unless noted: Coffee Cafe (The Paper Company)/ Tags & Words (heart image-Heidi Grace); Whisper White/Choc Chip/Berry Sorbet (PTI)/Lemon Tart (PTI) cardstock; Choc Chip/Fresh Snow (PTI) ink; Lemon Tart (PTI) Grosgrain Ribbon; Stardust Stickles (on flower).

be merry...

Whew! I don't know where my day went yesterday...I had so many plans and didn't seem to get it all done (my usual unrealistic expectations again). I did get all my out of state gifts wrapped and packaged so Mike can take them to the UPS store (glad I pawned that off on him, lol!).

I didn't even make it into my stamp room (BUMMER!), but I did clean off my table so I could photograph the cards I made on Saturday...so I could have something to post today *smile*

I realized a few days ago that I don't have many Christmas stamp sets...I sold a lot of my sets over the summer thinking I would replace them with something new and exciting... but unfortunately, Christmas really snuck up in me this year, so I just had to use what I had. I used my Merry & Bright set from SU! I just love snowmen, and the one from this set is pretty cute. I also used some of my hoarded Designer Paper from last year (also from SU!), and a button from my stash.
And I wanted to post this picture of Pete...my kitty, because I thought it was cute.

Okay I am off to work...Enjoy your day!

Supplies used (SU! unless noted): Merry & Bright/Warm Words stamp sets; Kraft/Certainly Celery/Real Red/Very Vanilla cardstock; Basic Black/Old Olive ink; Real Red/Certainly Celery SU! marker; Circle/Scallop punches; Olive Button (retired SU!); Stardust Stickles (Michael's)

white chocolate mocha with whip...yummy!

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was relaxing and too short, as usual, lol!

Friday we went out to dinner at Carraba's with some friends from church (thanks! you know who you are!)...that was a lot of fun.

Then Saturday morning, Ashley and Nate came over for haircuts...they brought us some yummy Starbucks coffee (non-fat white chocolate mocha...my fav! in their holiday red cups~I love that color!!!!)...which is where I got the idea for this card. I also added some whipped cream to the top of the cups with my liquid applique...and the best part is...it has 0 calories! Saturday afternoon, I got to play around with my camera and shot some photos of random stuff around the house and of course Peter (my cat, who is a great model, btw, lol!). It was nice to feel creative this weekend...love it!

Sunday we took our family pictures (thanks Sharon for being our photographer) for our Christmas card (which I still have to design). I got a few that are possibilities, but you know how it is...it is hard to find one that everyone is happy with. Here is a picture of me and Josh when we were done snapping photos...he was a good sport, even though I had sketched out 10 possible poses for us (I am a little crazy like that, lol!). He is a great kid!!!! Isn't he the cutest?

Enjoy your day~thanks for visiting!!!!
