more SU! and a case...
Hi all!
Here we are at the beginning of another week...boy those weekends fly right by me!
I was checking out my usual blogs this weekend and saw this card made by Dawn, and thought it was really pretty (love her color combos!!). I didn't have the all the PTI colors, so decided to improvise with my SU! stash. And since I was using SU! Paper and Ink...decided to go ahead and make the card totally SU! I also got a new punch that I tried out on this card (I am getting addicted to edge punches!!).
My family was nice enough to let me do a very mini photo shoot this weekend...of course I picked a really hot day (it was 113 degrees on Saturday). I did get some pretty good shots (still learning my new camera)...if you want to see them, check out my 365 blog...I will be posting some this week *smile*
Enjoy today and thanks for visiting!!!

another floral frenzy...
Oh how I love Fridays!!! Woot~Woot!!
Am I the only one that cannot believe that September is right around the corner??? Where is the time going!!!
I have been trying some new ways to post photos onto the old blog...and I am hoping it worked okay :o) I really like large images and the ones offered by Blogger, well are just not big enough for my liking!!!
Today I cased one of my all time favorite stampers!!!! This is Nichole's awesome card (can that girl stamp or what?). I just love going to her blog and getting inspired!!! I think that is why I love Papertrey products so much *smile*
On a random note...I was looking through one of my favorite photography forums last night and came across this website and was quite amazed with the final products!!! my opinion...Photoshop is an awesome program!!! No wonder no one likes pictures of themselves (even these gorgeous people need PS)!!!
Have a terrific weekend!!!

more SU! goodness...
Hi all...
I have another SU! card for you (but I did use some PTI ink/ribbon/button, LOL!). I think the set Priceless is so versatile!!! I just love those swirly images!!! This card came together very quickly...I just love those quick and easy kind of cards!! Of course I had to paper piece a bit (I think I am addicted to that technique, LOL!)...I just love to pop things up with dimensional's (aka~pop dots). I really like the color scheme of Ripe Avocado/Ocean Tide/Berry Sorbet too...really pretty!!!
Mike and I trimmed our big tree the other day (Mike trimmed~I cleaned up, LOL!). I hope that counted as exercise!!! We have to wait until evening to do yard work in the summer, since it is way too hot in the afternoon (even though it was 99 degrees at 6:45 pm)~It was getting dark and I was scooping up leaves...and trying not to think if there might be any creatures in the piles~like scorpions (they really gross me out!!)...probably a good thing it was dark!
Okay enough rambling, LOL!
Enjoy Today!
Supplies used (SU! unless noted): Priceless stamp set; Kraft/Whisper White/Ocean Tide (PTI) Cardstock; Berry Sorbet/Ocean Tide/Ripe Avocado (all PTI) ink; Ripe Avocado Double Stitched Ribbon (PTI); Berry Sorbet Button (PTI); Twine; Small Mini Circle Punch

totally SU!!
Happy Monday Peeps!!!
I hope you had a Fabulous weekend!! As promised I did not use my Everyday Button Bits stamp set (which I love btw) for this weeks posts (ha ha!), I actually pulled out some of my neglected SU! sets. I used True Friend and Absolutely Fabulous for today's card. I even used all SU! paper and ink *smile*
For the flower image, I used my SU! markers to color the image and then "huffed" on the stamp to moisten~then stamped onto cardstock. I love that technique, so much easier than masking with tape!!!
I have today off from work~woot!!! and so does my hubby...so I am hoping to get a few things accomplished around the house (yard work~for Mike, organizing, maybe ironing, etc)...and then some shooting time!!! I have been so busy over the past few days/weekend that I have only taken a few pictures (mostly for my blog).
I hope you have an Awesome Monday!!!!
Supplies used (SU! unless noted): True Friend/Absolutely Fabulous/Polka Dot Bkgrd stamps; Kraft/More Mustard/Close to Cocoa/Old Olive/Whisper White cardstock; White (craft) ink; Old Olive/More Mustard markers; Kraft Taffeta ribbon; Scallop Punch; Button (unknown); Twine

so sweet...
Happy Friday!!!
I have to work today (usually have it off), so just a quickie post for today!!!
I whipped up this card for my Mom, who celebrated her birthday on August 11th (I think she is 39...just like me, LOL!). I had sort of a green themed gift going on (one of her favorite colors), so I tried to match the card with the gifts. I am sorry if you are getting sick of my Everyday Button Bits stamp set...I promise to use something else for next weeks posts. I love pretty much love every image it that set...but aren't these cherries so stinkin' cute???
I have been so busy that I haven't really had time to play with my new toy...hope to get out and shoot this weekend, and stamp, of course!!!
Have a fabulous weekend!!!

i chair-ish your friendship...
Happy Wednesday to ya!!! I hope you are having a great week so far!!!
I just love this sentiment in the On My Couch stamp set (i chair-ish your friendship)...isn't it cute? Of course you have to add a chair to the card (paper pieced of course), LOL!!! I used my Enchanted Evening ink for the chair and Scarlett Jewel for the throw pillow. I just love how the PTI stamp sets pay such attention to detail...I also added an end table and plant to the image too~I felt like an interior designer...so fun!!!
My new camera arrives today...woot~woot!!! Cannot wait for Mr Brown to visit my house!!! Luckily I have a short day at work *wink*
The weekend is almost here!!! Enjoy Today!!!

up up and away...
Happy Monday all!!!
Boy those weekends sure do fly by!!! Probably because I try to cram so much into them~along with the usual housework and groceries!!!
I have a few moments to stamp over the weekend and of course I am still enjoying my EBB stamp set by Papertrey. I hope you aren't getting tired of it! I wanted to use this little hot air balloon image~too cute!!!
I am going to be without a camera until Wednesday *gasp*!!!! My old one is on it's way to it's new home and my new one doesn't arrive until the 19th...I have been using Josh's camera (which is the one I am getting *smile*), but he is leaving this morning for CT to visit my mom (before school starts)...Mike laughed at me when I said I would be camera~less until Wednesday, and commented "I might actually get to see you this week, huh?" crazy hubby!!! *don't worry...I have already photographed my cards for this week, so not interruptions on the old blog:o)
Oh yeah, my friend Shelli just started her blog over the weekend...so if you get a chance, pop over and say hello!
Have a great Monday!!!

sweet RAK!!!
Happy TGIF!!!
Today I want to share a RAK (random act of kindness) I got from my friend Shelli (hi Shelli!!), she used EBB (Everyday Button Bits) for this cute card!!!~my new fav stamp set!! I just love getting cards in the mail...it is like a little present...and this one even had buttons~yea! Shelli is a great stamper, and will be starting a blog soon (I will add her to my sidebar once she is up and running!!!), you will definitely want to check out her cards for some great inspiration!!!
I was so excited to sell my camera (to a sweet blog/FB friend), it was kind of sad packaging it up the other night getting it ready for it's new home. I know it will be well taken care of though *smile* and my new upgraded model is on the way~woot!!!! I will hopefully have it on Wednesday.
Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? Mike and I are making a huge Goodwill run today (feels good to clean out!!!), and maybe rent some movies...the usual stuff!!!
Have a great weekend!

hey there, chickadee...
The week is slowly moving along~yeah!
I have been trying to get back into my exercise schedule (walking 2-3 miles per day), which really does put a damper on my other activities like stamping, photography, scrapbooking...so many hobbies~so little time. I keep asking Mike why we are not rich, so I can stay at home all day (he usually laughs at me), LOL! That being said...I have had no time to be creative so far this week!
Luckily I found this card in my downloaded (pictures to process) folder, and realized I never posted it. I made this card when I first received my Papertrey Ink EBB (Everyday Button Bits) stamp set in the mail. Ashley wanted a card for her good friend Lindsay (Hi Lindsay!), who has been living in Texas. I just love this little bird image and sentiment that goes along with it. I also wanted to try out the Enchanted Evening cardstock and ink (yummy color!).
Josh got a new camera over the weekend...and I must say I am having major camera ENVY!!!! I am contemplating selling my camera, so I can upgrade. If anyone is interested in a great Canon Rebel XT (taken very good care of), battery grip with 2 batteries, Kit lens (18-55mm), Remote, original box and packaging leave me a comment~just throwing it out there.
I paid over $800 for all of it brand new (the grip alone without the batteries was $119), I would like to get $500 for everything (I have paypal and will ship with insurance add approx $20 within the USA).
Enjoy today!

birthday chair...
Happy Monday...
I hope you had a marvelous weekend:)
Mike and I had a fun date night on Friday. We went to see this movie...really cute, btw! I grew up watching Julia Child on public television (that was way before the Food Network!!). Mike really enjoyed listening to the movie crowd laughing out loud (he liked it too!!! even though it is a chick flick). We then went out to dinner at one of our favorite little spots ...it was a fun night with great company:)
I also got lots of little projects completed this weekend (good feeling)~but unfortunately didn't get any stamping in *argh*. I have a few cards to make...so hopefully I will have some time this week...to get my fingers inky!!
Ashley needed a birthday card for her sister-in-law, so I whipped up this little one with my new set On My Couch. I really like black and red together...and the little throw pillows in the set *so cute!!* Can you believe I didn't even use any ribbon!!! I know, CRAZY!!
Have a terrific day!
Supplies used (PTI unless noted): On My Couch/Everyday Button Bits stamp sets; Ruby Red/Basic Black (SU!)/Whisper White (SU!) cardstock; Ruby Red/Black Palette ink; SU! Dimensionals for couch and pillow

button bike...
Hi blogging friends...
Another week is behind us (yeah)!!! I am happy the weekend is here!!! I say that every Friday don't I? I have one more card for you this week, made with my new favorite stamp set Everyday Button Bits. I made this for Nate's birthday (we celebrated last weekend). I am not sure how masculine this card is...but I tried, LOL!
This weekend I am hopefully going to be on organizing kick, my craft room has become a disaster again, and I have several little organizing projects that need my attention. Some days I just love organizing...makes me feel like I can control one aspect of my life, LOL!
I finally jumped back on the power walking wagon...I have not walked "faithfully" since Ashley's wedding last October *gasp* I just got so busy planning for that, that I kind of got out of the habit (plus I used to walk with Ashley every day~great company)...my slacking is over!!! I went last night (2 miles~to start...don't want to overdo it, right?), alone, in the 100 degree heat...and you know what? It felt great!!! I just have to do it for 30 days to make it a habit again:)
Enjoy Today!

birthday tin...
Hi all...
I hope you are having a great week:)
Are you getting sick of my Everyday Button Bits projects? I hope not~because I really {heart} this stamp set!!!!
Here is a little birthday ensemble I made for a co-worker. I know I have said it before...I like my card to match my gift (if at all possible). I had several tea tins left over from a Christmas project, so I just whipped up a little tin to house some candy and a gift card. I cut my patterned paper the length of the tin; squirted some of my craft glue on the back of the patterned paper; laid the tin on one end and rolled to get a smooth finish; I used some sticky strip to adhere the edge; then added my stamped image with some pop dots (SU! dimensionals); tied some ribbon around to finish it off; Easy Peasy!!! I think it was a hit *smile*
Have a fantastic day!!!
Supplies used: (PTI unless noted) Everyday Button Bits stamp set; Aqua Mist/New Leaf/Whisper White cardstock; Aqua Patterned Paper; Choc Chip (SU!) ink; Aqua Grosgrain/Dotted Satin ribbon; Vintage Buttons; Twine (SU!); Tin (Specialty Bottle)

Another busy weekend for me. Ashley and I went to a movie on Saturday, we celebrated Nate's 27th Birthday, and you know the usual weekend stuff...weekends are just not long enough!!!
And I cannot believe it is already August??? The summer is flying by!
I didn't get much time in my stamp room this weekend, but here is a card I made last week when I got my new Everyday Button Bits stamp set. I am having a lot of fun with this set!!! Although it makes me realize that I need more buttons!!!
Supplies used (PTI unless noted): Everyday Button Bits stamp set; Berry Sorbet/Whisper White/New Leaf cardstock; New Leaf/Choc Chip (SU!) ink; Berry Sorbet buttons; Chocolate Satin Dotted ribbon; Scallop Punch (SU!)
