It's Fridayyyyy!! Can you believe that today it is going to be 99 degrees here in Phoenix~yikes!! So glad my sweet hubby had my a/c charged in my vehicle a few days ago, because I think I will def be using it today!! Here is another quick thank you card~I still have a few more to make *wink*.

I am still trying to use up my stash of patterned paper, which seems like it will take me forever!!! Hoarding is a BAD thing, LOL!!



Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend?? I am going to be organizing Ashley's old room, since it seems to have become a catch all, after Josh went through all his junk (I mean stuff). I will try to remember to take before and after photos!

I am also working on a cute little non-stamping project, that I hope to complete and blog about next week~it is super cute and easy!!!

BB2 {beautiful blooms 2} blessings...

Hi all, I hope you had a fabulous weekend!!! Mine was pretty busy~I never got to my grocery shopping (which is one of my least favorite jobs!!). Hopefully today after work I will get it done (unless I talk myself out of it~which I have been known to do, LOL!!). My family celebrated my birthday yesterday~and I have to say that I was so proud of them!! They even did a theme (I think I am rubbing off on them, LOL!!). After lunch, cake and presents~I was pooped!! I guess that is what happens when you get old (er). I got lots of gift cards to some of my favorite shopping spots, here, here , here and here. I predict some retail therapy is in my VERY near future!!! Luckily I did have a few moments to whip up a quick card for my blog today *smile* I was in a very minimalist mood last night, I was going to do some sort of background stamping on the Hawaiian shores cardstock, but changed my mind. Once I put it all together I was happy I left it plain~sometimes "less is more" (one of my favorite sayings, LOL!). Ok friends...Enjoy today!!

I hope you had a fabulous and relaxing weekend!!!
What a wonderful weekend I had!! My to-do list really got ignored, but that is ok!!!

Saturday Mike and I took the kids out for brunch (I cannot remember the last time my hubby was home on a Saturday~he usually cleans the church and works on the power point for our Sunday services). The women's ministry volunteered to clean the church and give him a Saturday off (what a blessing!!). The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed a very late breakfast on the patio of Mimi's Cafe (Nate had to work *sad face here*). Of course I had my phone with me, and YES!! I snapped pic's, LOL!!!

Sunday our church surprised Mike and I with a wonderful gift!! A retreat and lots of other goodies...we are still on Cloud 9!! Feeling so blessed by our loving church family!! They ROCK!!

I had a few moments to play in my craft room/studio last night~and since I was feeling so blessed~I made a "blessing" card.

Happy Friday!!!
I never thought it would get here!!! LONG weekend (with Mike) and next week off~hooray!!!
Although as I am typing this I am realizing~I will probably not want next Friday to get here that fast, LOL!! (funny how that works!!!). When we are on vacation we don't want Friday to arrive (because that means it is almost over...and while we are working~we cannot wait for Friday)!!

Mike told me that he just wants to relax this weekend~I hope he doesn't mind the few items I added to my list for him, LOL!!! We may even go to a movie too (which we haven't done in ages, since we have Direct TV, we usually get pay per view, which I really like because we are able to pause to get a snack and take a bathroom break without missing a beat).

Here is a quick and simple card for today...I really do like Orange Zest and Aqua Mist together~so fresh and really pretty!! (*note~ the leaves and stems are stamped in Spring Moss, but they are not showing up very well in the photo)

I got some happy mail the other day *woot woot* I have been on the fence about ordering this Papertrey Ink stamp set "Scattered Showers " . I just wasn't sure if I would get a lot of use out of it~I have to say that so far I am really loving it!!! I only had time to stamp one card, since my week has been a little crazy!! I paper pieced the umbrella top and popped it up with pop dots. Really "springy" looking.



Today I am going to spend some time with my Peep!!! (Ashley). Last week we were supposed to go out to lunch, but she had a major computer problem and had to take it into the Apple store...she has today off (me too!), so we are gonna get lunch and do some shopping here (Ashley is a great bargain hunter and can find really cute stuff there, I always need her help, LOL!).

I am hoping to watch this movie with my hubby~we didn't have time last weekend...has anyone seen it??? if so how was it??
