As you may know, if you read my blog on a regular basis, that I have been looking for a new job. If you are new here, you can find the posts HERE.
I have to say, that looking for a job in this economy is not for the faint at heart!! In the past, whenever I applied for a job, had an interview, it usually resulted in me being hired. But nowadays, with so many people out of work, it is just CRAZY!! You submit your resume to a black hole, if you're lucky you get a call back, have phone interviews, face to face interviews, rejection emails, behavioral questions (that was new to me!!), listing your best/worst qualities, and the worst is, never hearing back from a company...it is like having a part time job, without the pay!
*yeah I was a little excited when I got the job offer *wink*, and I am sure my neighbors think I am even more crazier than usual now, LOL!
**I am not the most graceful jumper, I am just sayin'!!

Congratulations, Gretchen. I'm so glad that you got an offer. How far is your current commute?
Let me re-phrase that . . . how long was the commute to your last job? (I know you mentioned you were staying on a little longer and I didn't know if that ended).
Who cares about Graceful when You GET THAT JOB!!! Congratulations!
Is it the one in Scottsdale? What was the one you turned down? Maybe I need to apply - JK!! Congrats:)
Yay go you. Huge congrats Gretchen. I hope you love your new job and I know they'll love you!
Congratulations, Gretchen! I know I would hate to be scouring the job market looking for a position. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to retire 7 years ago at a young age (opened up a job for someone younger). : ) Think most companies hire temps so they aren't obligated just in case things don't work out the way they want. My guess is…you'll be permanent eventually.
Good luck!
Congratulations Gretchen! I am so glad to hear about your new job, it sounds perfect! Love the photo :)
