here comes Santa Claus....

Happy Monday blog friends!!! Are you getting your Christmas duties completed? This year I have to admit, I haven't really been stressing too much (it is early though, LOL!). I think I am pretty much done with my shopping (but I am usually running out for random stuff right up until the last minute). Today is my last day off (used up my hoarded vacation days finally), until the holidays...so I am hoping to get all my out of town stuff wrapped and shipped and then spend some time in my craft room for some crafty projects...I need some stamp time!!!

I have been playing with my Holiday Button Bits stamp set a lot (just a warning, LOL!), since I will have to put it away in a couple of weeks...until next Christmas.

This Santa was so fun to put together (paper pieced)!! I also LOVE PTI's white cardstock for coloring!!! It is a lot heavier than SU!'s white cardstock, so it holds up really well to markers.

Last night Ashley and I put together our annual ginger bread house...it used to be a family project, but for the past two years us girls have been carrying on the tradition~we had fun!!! I will have pic's soon...so check out my 365 blog in a couple of days *smile*

Enjoy today!!!

more Christmas goodness...

Happy TGIF to ya!!!
I have been busy with Christmas stuff, I finally got my naked tree decorated yesterday (all by myself, which was not as much fun!), wreaths hung, Christmas cards almost done (I ran out...so placed a small order with expedited shipping), and some shopping at Sprouts then dinner with Ashley. What a fun filled crazy day, LOL!!!

Here is a quick and easy card (gotta love those!).
Christmas merry & bright

One of my dear blog friends, Jodene, sent me this adorable card (all the way from Australia!!!), She was even sneaky about it~she messaged Ashley on Facebook for my address...I was so surprised!!! And I have to say that Jodene is an AWESOME stamper!!! The card is even more beautiful IRL! The inside is even cute :) Thanks again Jodene!!!

merry & bright

Hi all...
I missed my Wednesday morning post~oops!!! I realized at 9:00 pm Tuesday night that I didn't photograph/edit my cards for my blog post...and I was too tired to even attempt it, so I am posting a little late :(

The Christmas stress has finally started...Luckily I have tomorrow off (still using my hoarded vacation days), and I hope to at least get my Christmas cards in the mail. And maybe some wrapping??? Why do the days seem so short once the 2nd week of December rolls around, LOL!!!

I have been working on a digi project, that I will share after the holidays~I have been having fun getting back into scrapping...maybe 2010 will be a productive scrapping year for me~I just get so overwhelmed with all the pictures I take.

Enough rambling, huh? Onto the card...
I have been on a Christmas kick these last few days, I am not stamping/making my Christmas cards this year (gasp!!!), I digi scrapped it *smile* I will post it soon (after I get them mailed).

Although, I like to have some holiday cards on hand for the office, church, and last minute Christmas gifts, and that way I don't have to do a huge assembly line to mass produce...it is fun just to create one at a time :)

another wedding card...

Happy Monday friends!
I have a quick post today...I was supposed to have today off, but the gal covering for me is sick, so I will swap it out for another day :) so off to work I go.

I was nominated by Carol for a blog award...thanks Carol :)

I took a break from my Christmas crafting, since Ashley needed a wedding card for the sweet couple from our church, who tied the knot on December 5th. I made this one last week, which incorporated the color scheme of the wedding. I decided to keep with the same colors for this card too. After messing around with the numerous layers, I finally got it to lay/look right (sometimes this takes longer than expected, LOL!). I then cut out the heart and popped it up with one of my pop dots on steroids (purchased at Michael's~sorry don't know the brand...but they are round)...then added a little rhinestone to the heart for a little "bling"

Damask Christmas

Hi blog friends...
It is Friday~the most wonderful day of the week, LOL! I enjoyed my first day off Yesterday (I am off until Tuesday), I got up, had some coffee with white chocolate peppermint mocha creamer (Safeway brand~yummy, btw!), stayed in my Jammie's until about 11am (so not like me), and wasted some time on the computer (reading blogs and Facebook). Then I did some stamping~finally the ideas are flowing...I managed to get a few cards stamped and some digi projects (can't show those just yet).

I saw a sneak peak of Jan/Feb Papercrafts magazine cover on Facebook...and I totally cased this card (I think it is one of Dawn's)...I made mine more holiday~ish, since I am in full holiday crafting mode.

wedding simplified...

Happy Wednesday...
Are you having a good week?? I hope so. I had planned on some serious stamping time on Monday...and can you believe it~no stamping mojo!!!! argh!!! It is kinda like on your day off when you wake up at 6am.

Mike is doing a wedding ceremony for a couple in our church this Saturday...so I decided to get a jump start on the card (usually I wait until the last minute to put one together, LOL!). I wanted to incorporate her color scheme into the card, I used the less is more theme for this one :)

I am hoping to finish up my Christmas shopping this week...I am taking off Thursday, Friday, and Monday (trying to use my hoarded vacation days), Although everytime I go into a store, I find a gread deal on something for me, LOL!!! I try to remember what my hubby always tells me~"just because it is on sale, does not mean you have to participate"~I don't know about you...but I just love a good sale!!!
