another tent top card...

Hi all...
Did you make it through your Monday okay? Once I am over that hump...it is smooth sailing to the weekend.
Since I didn't do any stamping last weekend, I was looking through my stash and realized I never posted this tent topper card that I made a while back. I used two of my go-to stamp sets Floral Frenzy and Mixed Messages...added a little patterned paper and viola! I punched the center of the flower out with my circle punch and popped it up with a dimensional. A pretty fast and easy card!
Have you been checking out all the sneak peaks from Papertrey Ink? I am going to have to get another job to support my habit, LOL!
Enjoy today!
Supplies used (SU! unless noted): Floral Frenzy/Mixed Messages (both PTI) stamp sets; Purely Pomegranate/Choc Chip/Whisper White cardstock; Purely Pomegranate/Choc Chip ink; Berry Bliss Patterned Paper; Satin Chocolate Ribbon; Circle Punch

a little digi scrapping...

Hi all...are you ready for another Monday???

I was feeling a little under the weather this weekend, so unfortunately I did not get into my stamp room (you know I don't feel good, when no stamping happens!). Not really sure what I have, but I slept a lot this and felt headache-y and feverish. Hopefully I was just trying to fight something off!

I did a little bit of digi scrapping though...I am trying to finish my CD desk calendar. So today will be a "digi post day."

I used the digi templates from Janet Phillips (these are not longer available), but check out her new website The Daily Digi...you can download this cute album for free!!! I am definitely going to make one of these!!!
Enjoy today...and thanks for stopping by!!!!

still using my cuttlebug...

Happy Friday All!
Today I have a quick post...I am working today (I usually have Fridays off), since Ashley is on her way to visit her friend Lindsay in Texas for the weekend, I am filling in for her at work.
This card is a case of a case (original by Nichole Heady-my idol!). I really do love this layout and I added some embossed cardstock to the top of both of my versions (Cuttlebug). I haven't used Aqua mist in quite some time (got a little burned out with all the wedding stuff), but remembering how much I really enjoy this color!
Have an Awesome weekend!!!

swirls and flowers...

Hi all...
I thought I would take a break from Valentine's Day cards. I have been on a Cuttlebug kick this week, huh? I really like these flowers from the Green Thumb stamp set (PTI, of course). The color combo for today's card is Ripe Avocado, Berry Sorbet, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White...one I will most likely use again. I played around with the layers on this card for a while before I got them to where I liked them...in the end it all worked out, but I didn't really have a place for a sentiment, so I decided to leave it off (sometimes less is more, right?).
Yesterday I helped Ashley hang some curtains in her apartment...now I know why I usually let my hubby do those jobs (because I am an eyeball it kind of gal), they are up and straight, but I am sure Mike would have done a better job ;)
Have a great day!!!

abc~love u...

Happy Wednesday!
I have another Valentine card for you...when Papertrey had their January release, I decided to get the Fresh Alphabet stamp set. I really liked the look of it, and who cannot use another alphabet set, right? I am so glad I got it, because I really {heart} it!!!! I know I have said this before, but the best part about PTI stamps is that you can see exactly where you are stamping...an AWESOME thing when you are using an alpha set. I also have been using my neglected cuttlebug...I forgot how much I liked it!!!
Any Biggest Looser fans??? I could not believe Carla and Joelle-CRAZY!!!!!! I hope Carla is the biggest looser!!!!
Enjoy your day!!!

wild about you...

Happy Monday Everyone...are you ready for a new week?

I hope you had a great weekend*smile* I did the usual stuff, groceries, cleaning, laundry and a little stamping (a girl has to have some fun right?). I was still in Valentine mode, so I have a few more "heart day" cards to share with you this week. I pulled out this stamp set last week, because I had this card idea in my head (but never got to it). Luckily I left the stamp set on my table, and it reminded me, so viola!. I also pulled out my Cuttlebug to give the card some added embossed texture. I also paper pieced the lion's head and popped it up with a dimensional. I was also thinking the perfect line for in side the card Front: wild about you Inside: I'm not lion (ha ha!!! I crack myself up sometimes!).

I am still plugging away at my new PS CS3 software, I used a different color background (to photograph) to help with the color cast...I love a challenge...I will get it eventually!!!!

Enjoy today~thanks for visiting!!!

Supplies used (SU! unless noted): Wild About You stamp set; Whisper White/Regal Rose/Pure Poppy (PTI) cardstock; Regal Rose/Pure Poppy (PTI) ink; Pure Poppy double stitched ribbon (PTI); Cuttlebug Hearts embossing template
