birthday for a friend...

Another quick post for today...

I am so ready for the weekend!!! How about you? My goal today is to get my Christmas cards in the mail! Then hopefully Ashley and I are going to the mall to finish our shopping for our out of state family. Then I can mail those packages on Monday. Where is the time going? Can you believe that Monday is the 15th...which means Christmas in 10 days away...yikes!!!

Today's card is one I made for a friend who celebrated her birthday on 12/8 (Hi Cindy). I used my PTI Women of Life set (which in another fav of mine).

Okay off to get my envelopes stuffed, addressed and stamped and out of my hands.

Enjoy your weekend!

Supplies used (SU! unless noted): Women of Life (PTI) stamp set; Berry Sorbet (PTI)/Blush Blossom/Whisper White cardstock; Certainly Celery/Berry Sorbet (PTI)/Blush Blossom ink; Celery Grosgrain Ribbon; Circle Rounder punch (for tag); Stardust Stickles (JoAnn's)

Love your cards!I am dying to be more crafty. Just too busy lately. Congrats on your new flash. It's a whole new world. The main reason I wanted one was for xmas morning as my kids are up before the sun. Made for crappy pictures. I bounce my flash off of the ceiling or behind me. Pointing the flash behind you makes a nice light. Just warn those standing behind you;0) Most of the time, straight on is just too harsh for me. But...if you have shadows on faces inside or out, flash straight on to use as a fill flash. At CPR James Ransom said don't worry about the bells and whistles on the flash, just turn it on and it will work w/ your camera as you are learning.
