TGIF!!!! I am so happy it is Friday (of course:D). Ashley and I are going to have a "Girl's Night" tonight...dinner and a movie *smile*

Here is a card I made for my mom, she just had surgery and I wanted to send her a little get well card...luckily I had my new stamp sets~I used On My Couch and the new PTI Perfect Match color Scarlett Jewel. Since I enjoy paper piecing...I think I will use this set a LOT!!! It comes with some really cute sentiments too.

Update...Everyday Button Bits is back in stock over at Papertrey Ink!!! Hurry up and order one~such a great set!!

Hi there Chickadee!!
I hope you are having a great week (it is even better knowing today is Wednesday and the week is half over!!). I have to say that I {heart} this new PTI stamp set, Everyday Button Bits!!! This little bird is so cute!

I made this card for my blog friend Shelli (hi Shelli!!!), when she went to make her PTI order, this set was on back order...so send her a card I made with the set (hope it gets back in stock soon for ya!).

Some randomness...It has been crazy hot here in Phoenix this week...I think it was 114 degrees yesterday (whew!). I cannot wait for it to cool down a bit so I can get back to my power walking...it is to stinkin' hot outside for that!!! I was supposed to dust off my elliptical machine this week...but, I always seem to talk myself out of it!!!

I hope you had a marvelous weekend!!! Mine was full of the regular weekend stuff, some fun family time, and a little stamping! I got my PTI order on Friday afternoon...and had some time in my stamp room on Saturday~I am LOVING this new set Everyday Button Bits!!! it is so cute and versatile!!! I hope I don't bore you with cards from this set, LOL!

Oh and I really like the On My Couch set too!! Really cute! It reminds me of Color Forms (I am dating myself now!). They were these vinyl stick on things that you stuck to a board and could remove...I had one of a house and furniture (that I loved to play with btw), It is really fun adding pillows and other elements to the card front!! I am definitely going to have to order the On My Couch Additions!

Have you heard of Flick? I finally caved and opened an account and have been uploading my photos.

What I like about Flick is...
It is another type of backup for your photos in case of a computer crash, You can set your account to private or public, There are tons of photos to browse (I have wasted so much time doing that), and you can copy the HTML code and make your blog photos bigger than what Blogger allows you to (I am digging that!). I tried it in today's post, and I think I like it!



Here are my monogrammed cards (part 2). I had a lot of fun making these for my dear friend Sue, who celebrated her birthday last week.
I wanted to keep the same color scheme, so they would be tied together someway.


I am hopefully getting my Papertrey order today~I love when the brown truck makes a stop at my house...just makes me happy!!! I hope to get creative with my new stuff this weekend!!

monogrammed cards part 1

Hi all...
Today I have some monogrammed cards to share with you.
My friend Sue celebrated her birthday (29 right Sue?) on Saturday. I wanted to make her some cards to go along with her gift. I had planned on making all one design, but I guess I must have been in a creative mood.
Here are 3 of the 6 I made (will post the other 3 on Friday). I used the same color scheme so they would coordinate, but changed up the layouts.

Hi all...

I hope your week is off to a great start! It has been pretty hot here in AZ (anything over 11o degrees is HOT to us, LOL!), every year I forget just how hot it gets...until it hits, but I remind myself, I would much rather have the heat than cold and snow!!!

I have been busy working on Birthday cards (this one is for my dear Friend Sue!!! Happy Birthday!!!!)~I copied this one I made a few weeks back, I just love this set by Lisa Johnson. I also used my new punch (which wasn't as easy as my SU! ones). I am hoping to get my PTI package this week!!! It has been a while since there have been new stamps in da house!!!

birthday card for my brother-in-law...

My brother in law, Todd, celebrated his birthday on July 13th, can you guess how old he is???

I pulled out my Humorous Birthday set by Inkadinkadoo, since it has non-flowery images. I paper pieced this little turtle and he came out pretty cute, IMO. I don't think it is too girly (what do you think?)...even though I HAD to add some ribbon and a button, LOL!

Did you see the new Papertrey stamp sets? I had a weak moment and got this and this, (Lets just say I qualified for free shipping!!!) plus some buttons, paper and ribbon...woot! I cannot wait for it to arrive *smile*

Ashley said the stamp sets were so cute, that she wanted to come over and stamp with me once they arrive~Good Times!!!
