it's hip to be square...

Hi blog friends~are you ready for the weekend? I know I am!! *smile*

Today is going to be quick, because I am up to my ears in photo editing from my last session (it was a biggie!!! might post some in the next few weeks). I am also having to re-tag all my digital papers and elements in my ACDsee program...apparently when you move things into different folders and locations, the items become orphaned and you cannot open them in Photoshop (who knew!!!). I am trying to look on the bright side~I have purged all the kits and templates I am not going to use, and reorganizing the entire program (now that I am familiar with how it works and my scrapping style)...big job though!!!!

I am a big fan of square cards...but I rarely make them this shape~probably because I like getting 2 card bases from 1 piece of cardstock, LOL! I used my Turning a New Leaf stamp set (I can tell it is gonna be one of my fav's!!!), and some retired SU! designer series paper for a pretty easy layout. Not sure if you can see in the photo, but I also went around the edge with my paper piercing tool and piercing guide. One of these days I really need to break out my sewing machine for my paper crafting!!!

Do you have anything exciting planned for the weekend? I am doing the usual...WW meeting, groceries, cleaning, laundry, and hoping to maybe squeeze in a movie with my hubby!
