ladybug thank you...

It's Wednesday!
So glad it is the half way mark...am I the only one who is always looking forward to the weekends???

Today is gonna be a quickie!!!

I needed a thank you note, and decided to ink up my Tags and Words stamp set {which I purchased at JoAnn's, btw. :0)}. I really love this little lady bug...it really makes for a simple...less is more card (so my style, LOL!). I paper pieced and popped up the lady bug's body with a dimensional (hard to see from the photo). I just love black/white/red together...so bold!

Enjoy Today Friends!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Supplies used (SU! unless noted): Tags and Words (Heidi Grace) stamp set; Whisper White/Real Red/Basic Black cardstock; Basic Black ink; Scallop Punch; Black Dotted Satin Ribbon (PTI).

I like you a latte...and my cat peter...

Happy Monday Blog Friends!

Are you ready for a new week? I had some time in the craft room over the weekend, which always makes me happy! I used the stamp set Coffee Cafe by the Paper Company (which I purchased at Joann's). I have been on a paper piecing kick lately...I really used to like to color my stamped images, but because I don't own the Copic Markers and I hate the lines that my SU! ones leave, paper piecing in the best option IMO.

So I have this make-shift light box that I use to photograph my blog stuff...last night I was doing my usual card photo shoot and my cat Peter decided he needed to get inside the box (he is sitting on top of my card)...of course I had to take his picture (even though it is quite blown and not really the best quality picture, it made me laugh)...he has quite the personality, LOL!

Supplies used (SU!) unless noted: Coffee Cafe (The Paper Company)/ Tags & Words (heart image-Heidi Grace); Whisper White/Choc Chip/Berry Sorbet (PTI)/Lemon Tart (PTI) cardstock; Choc Chip/Fresh Snow (PTI) ink; Lemon Tart (PTI) Grosgrain Ribbon; Stardust Stickles (on flower).

a little digi....

Happy Friday to ya!!!
I am so happy for the weekend!!! Now don't get me wrong, I like my job...but it really cuts into my hobby/crafting time, LOL!
I wanted to do some digi scrapping (boy, so behind on that!!!), and instead of going in chronological order...I used some recent pictures of Ashley I took for my Photography Class. I used a chocolate action on them (who doesn't love anything chocolate right?). The digi kit is from Digital Design Essentials and the template is from Janet Philips of The Daily Digi (so excited she is doing grab bags again!!!).
Hope you have a marvelous weekend!!!

Administrative Professionals Day!!!

Today is Administrative Professionals Day!!!

I put together this little ensemble for the Administrator at our church, she volunteers 3 times per week and has to put up with my hubby (that is a job in itself), LOL! I know she has really helped Mike out by taking on some of the workload...thanks Heather!!!

Of course we had to get her a little something for being such a blessing!!! I picked up a few gift cards, a mini bundt cake and balloon on my way home from work. Of course I like everything to match, so I used the colors from the balloon to make the tin and card. Just wanted her to know how much we appreciate her!!

Enjoy today!

got cake???

Happy Monday!

Are you ready for another week? Boy the weekend just seemed to fly right by me! It is definitely heating up here in Arizona...Tuesday we may hit the triple digits. Ashley and I went for a walk yesterday, and it was 97 degrees (not too hot for Phoenix standards), but when you live in paradise from October thru April, that first HOT day really makes you remember what the summer is like. I always tell myself when I am sweating...it is better than snow!!!!

I am still plugging away at birthday cards. I really liked this one (probably because I love cake!!!). I paper pieced that little guy (not sure what he is, LOL!) and popped the cupcake with a dimensional.

Enjoy today!

happy cupcake day...

TGIF!!! So glad the weekend is here! Last weekend I was so busy with Easter stuff (since I procrastinated), that I hope to have some serious crafting time this weekend!!!
April is "the" birthday month in my family...6 of them (do you have one of those months?). I made this card from my brother, who's birthday was on the 14th. I really struggle with boy cards!!! I hope he didn't think this was too girly, LOL!!! But I have to add ribbon to every card!!! It just looks naked without it.
Enjoy the weekend!!!
Supplie used (PTI unless noted): Cupcakes (the paper company) stamp set; New Leaf ink; New Leaf/Aqua Mist/Whisper White (SU!) cardstock; New Leaf Double Stitched ribbon; Polka Dot Cuttlebug Embosing Folder

remembering you...

Howdy Friends!
I hope you are having a terrific week!!! I have been keeping pretty busy with my photography class (which I really like, btw).
I left work early on Monday and had a couple of hours to stamp when I got home (which was nice). I had my most recent PTI purchase (Life stamp set) on my table so I decided to ink it up. I just love the white palette ink pad from PTI (Fresh Snow). It shows up so nice and bright, especially on the Ocean Tide cardstock. And of course I had to add a few specks of Stardust Stickles to give the card some sparkle.
Enjoy today!!!

just some blah, blah, blah...

Happy Monday Everyone!!!
I hope you had a great Easter weekend. I procrastinated so much this year, that I was running around multitasking all weekend...which did not leave me any stamping time (and I need to make several birthday cards...argh!!!!), oh well today is another day.
Thought I would post a pic from our Easter table...it was small (just our family) and casual (my favorite kind of day!!!).
Enjoy today!!!!

Easter Goodies...

Happy Good Friday!!!
(I think every Friday is good!!!)

I hope you are having a great day!
I don't know about you...but Easter kind of snuck up on me this year...on Wednesday I realized that I hadn't gotten any goodies to fill up these cute pails (for the people in my office) I found in the dollar spot at Target. So after work, I ran to Paradise Bakery to pick up some of their yummy cookies (they are de-lish), and to Party City to get the wrapping stuff.

After dinner I whipped up some tags with my new stamp set "Tags and Words" (Heidi Grace). I just love that little chick image in the set...so cute!!!

I have today off *hooray* I have to come up with some Easter treat ideas for Ashley, Nate, Josh and Sharon/get a ham and the fix'in's for dinner on Sunday (yummy!)/and pick up (lots of) eggs and boil them so the kids can color them (they still like to do that). It should be a fun weekend!

Hope you have Blessed Easter!!!!!

masculine thanks...

Happy Wednesday...

I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is a quick post.

I have a short day at work today since only one Doctor is working *smile* I then plan on going over to Ashley's to visit her and her kitty Jax (haven't seen him in a long time). I also need Ashley to be my subject for my Photography class assignment (since I don't think Mike would be a very willing model, LOL!).

I needed a masculine thank you card (not my favorite kind to make), but used one of my go-to color combos...Ripe Avocado and Chocolate Chip (that combo does not sound too appetizing, but they look great together, IMO).

Enjoy today and Thanks for visiting!!!

Supplies used: Maison Frames (Inkadinkado)/Thank You (Heidi Grace) stamp sets; Whisper White (SU!)/Choc Chip (SU!)/Ripe Avocado (PTI) cardstock; Ripe Avocado (PTI)/Choc Chip (SU!) ink; Double Stitched Ripe Avocado ribbon

new stuff and some rambling....

Happy Monday...
I have had an interesting weekend (enough said), I am really glad that things around the Clark home are going to be back to normal (whatever that is) today.
Here is a quick card I made using Lisa Johnson's new stamp set Life. I have been so busy the last couple of weeks that I haven't really had a chance to use it...hopefully this week I will get some stamping time *smile* I also used my new Perfect Match cardstock/ink/ribbon New Leaf...a really pretty green, btw!!!
I am enjoying my Photography Class, and so thankful that last week was Week 0, and pretty much an intro to the course...now I am ready to dig in :) Hopefully I will have some great photos to share this week!!!
Have a Wonderful Monday!!!!

paper pieced birdies...

Happy TGIF!!!!

I am so glad to have today off! It has been one crazy week for me. I don't think I got to bed before midnight all week (and for me that is late! VERY LATE!!). I get up for work at 4:45 am, so by the end of the week I was pretty tired (surprisingly not grouchy though, LOL!).

Here is another creation with my Birthday (JoAnn's) shopping spree stamps *smile* this set is called Tags and Words (Heidi Grace Designs). I thought the birds were so cute!!! The were just asking to be paper pieced!!! I used one of my favorite color combos...Aqua Mist, Black and White (I still love it even though it was all I saw while planning Ashley's wedding 6 month ago (wow time flies), LOL!). I also embossed the base with my new Cuttebug folder (polka dots).

Supplies used (SU! unless noted): Words and Tags (HG) stamp set; Aqua Mist (PTI)/Whisper White/Basic Black Cardstock; Basic Black ink; Papertrey Patterned paper (Aqua Mist); Aqua Mist Grosgrain Ribbon; Cuttlebug (polka dot) Embossing Folder

you're the cream in my coffee...

Hi all!
I have been crazy busy this week helping/attending the Power for Life Strength Ministry at our church. It started Sunday and ends tonight...it is a lot of work, but lots of lives have been changed!!!

Here is a card I made last week before the craziness started. I used on of my new stamp sets from The Paper Company called Coffee Cafe' (purchased at JoAnn's btw). I love coffee (STARBUCKS to be exact!!!), I found out last Sunday when I was fueling up (on caffeine) that from 3/28 thru (sometime in April, the Barista couldn't remember), any grande drink at Starbucks is $2 after 12 noon...now that sounds like a deal to me!!!!

I got some happy mail the other day...I have met so many great peeps through my blog! I have also gotten several requests for the directions and supply list for the wedding invitations I made for Ashley's wedding. I got an email from Kim a few weeks ago, asking for the directions...she emailed me back and asked if she could have my address so she could send me a thank you card (of course!!!)...this is what she sent me*big SMILE* wasn't that the sweetest thing??? Thanks Kim!!!! You Rock!!! I used some of the Prima flowers on today's card:0)
Happy April Fool's Day!
